📦 Shipping, Right of Withdrawal & Claims – by region

🇩🇰 Denmark

  • Delivery: 1–5 business days. Same-day delivery in the Copenhagen area by agreement.
  • Right of withdrawal: 14 days under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (private purchases only). You cover the cost of returning the item. We refund the item price plus the part of the original shipping cost that equals our cheapest standard delivery.
  • Right to complain (reklamationsret): Up to 2 years under the Danish Sale of Goods Act – subject to used condition and age. Buyer is informed of condition in the listing. After the first 12 months, the customer must prove that the defect existed at delivery (købeloven § 83 a).
  • Item condition: Most items are pre-owned. We grade and describe them before purchase. Known defects exempt us from liability (købeloven § 83).

🇪🇺 Other EU countries

  • Delivery: Typically 4–7 business days from dispatch.
  • Right of withdrawal: 14 days under EU Directive 2011/83/EU. You pay the return cost. We refund the item price plus the part of the original shipping cost that equals our cheapest standard delivery.
  • Right to complain: Up to 2 years under EU law, with the same used-item reservations as Denmark. After the first 12 months, the customer must prove that the defect existed at delivery (købeloven § 83 a).
  • Note: Buyer accepts that the product is used; therefore the scope of complaints may be limited.

🇺🇸 USA & other non-EU countries

  • Delivery: 5–10 business days depending on customs. Shipments are tracked.
  • Returns: Voluntary 14-day return for unused items. No statutory right of withdrawal. Customer pays return shipping.
  • Warranty: No statutory warranty. Any defects must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
  • Duties & import: Buyer is responsible for any customs duties or import fees.
  • Sales-tax: Calculated at checkout for affected U.S. states.

Ordering: Orders can be placed via CollexyLux’s webshop or other platforms where our products are listed. Purchases at our physical address are by prior appointment only.

Order confirmation: We confirm the order by e-mail (or letter). The confirmation states product details, price, delivery date and payment method.

Collection: If the customer opts to collect, pick-up must occur at the agreed time between CollexyLux and the customer.

Customer responsibility: The customer must provide accurate and complete information (delivery address, contact, payment). Check the order confirmation and notify us of errors or changes immediately.

Order cancellation: CollexyLux reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its discretion (e.g. unavailability, pricing error, suspected fraud, or breach of terms).

Price: Prices include applicable taxes and duties unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are calculated separately and added to the total.

Payment: We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, bank transfer, MobilePay and cash on agreed collection (cash limited to DKK 14,999). Payment is due at order placement unless otherwise agreed. Late or failed payment may incur fees and we may suspend delivery until full payment is received.

Delivery: We dispatch within 1–5 days (weekends included). Premium Delivery within 1 day in Copenhagen by agreement. Delivery fees are non-refundable once the order has shipped. Cancellations must be made promptly.

Returns: Inspect items on delivery and report any defects or discrepancies within 14 days. Return within 30 days if defective, damaged or not as described, requesting refund, replacement or repair under our warranty policy. Items must be returned in original condition/packaging with proof of purchase and RMA number. Customer bears return cost and risk unless the item is defective or wrong, in which case we cover both.

Warranty: CollexyLux warrants items to be of satisfactory quality and as described for 12 months from delivery, unless stated otherwise. Misuse, negligence, modification, normal wear or external damage (fire, flood, theft, vandalism) are excluded. Our liability is limited to refund, replacement or repair; indirect damages (profit, data, goodwill) are excluded.

Right to complain: You may complain about defects within 2 years of delivery. If a defect was disclosed before purchase, warranty and return rights regarding that defect lapse.

Use of the item: Customer agrees to follow instructions and laws. No unlawful, immoral or harmful use, nor infringement of third-party rights. Customer indemnifies CollexyLux against claims arising from improper use.

Intellectual property: CollexyLux does not own IP rights in the items (they belong to the original manufacturer/owner). Customer receives a limited, non-transferable licence for personal use only.

Privacy policy: CollexyLux collects, uses and discloses personal data in line with our privacy policy (available on request). We do not sell data. You may access, rectify or delete data by contacting us.

Selling private items on behalf of a customer

Right to complain: Private sales normally carry a 2-year complaint right, unless expressly waived (“sold as is”). Always obtain written proof of complaint terms when buying from a private seller.

Right of withdrawal: No automatic 14-day right for private-to-private transactions unless separately agreed.

Clear advertising: Listings for private items are clearly marked as private sales.

Entire agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement and may only be changed in writing signed by both parties. Danish law applies; disputes fall under Danish courts.

Discount codes

  1. Single use: One code per customer unless stated. Must be logged in.
  2. Non-transferable: Codes cannot be sold or exchanged for cash.
  3. Combination: Only one code per order unless campaign terms allow otherwise.
  4. Expiry: Codes expire on the stated date.
  5. Abuse: We may cancel orders involving code abuse (e.g. multiple e-mails to bypass single-use).
  6. Changes: We may change or end codes at any time without notice.

For any electronic accessories sold, we comply with the WEEE Directive. Electronics must be handed in at recycling stations; look for the crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol.

By placing an order, the customer accepts these terms.

Complaint handling

Customer’s right to complain: Please contact us first via contact form or contact@collexylux.dk.

Procedure:

  1. Receipt: We confirm within 1–2 business days and give an estimated timeline.
  2. Processing: We investigate and aim to resolve within 14 days (complex cases may take longer; we keep you informed).
  3. Resolution: If upheld, we may refund, repair, replace or offer suitable compensation.

External dispute resolution:

  • Danish Consumer Complaints Board (Forbrugerklagenævnet)

  • EU residents outside DK can use the EU ODR platform.
