In brief: When you buy a Pokémon single from CollexyLux, it should be clear which card you are viewing, what condition it is in and how it will be shipped. That is why we focus on accurate card details, relevant images, secure packaging and personal service.
CollexyLux is a Danish online store specialising in Pokémon singles. Whether you are looking for a specific card to complete a set, a vintage card or a particular variant, the aim is to make it easier to find and choose the right copy.
Below, you can see how we approach the areas that matter most when buying Pokémon cards online.
The right card in the right version
The same Pokémon artwork can appear in several sets, languages, editions and variants. Two cards may therefore look similar without being the same product.
We work with details such as:
- card name
- set and series
- collector number
- language
- edition
- variant and finish
- rarity
- condition
Accurate details make it easier to check whether a card matches your collection or want list before completing your purchase.
See also our guide to collector numbers and our guide to Pokémon card variants and languages.
Clear condition information before you buy
Condition has a major effect on a card’s appearance, price and collector value. A Near Mint copy cannot therefore be compared directly with the same card in Light Played or Played condition.
At CollexyLux, each card is assessed as a whole, including:
- front and back
- corners and edges
- scratches and surface wear
- whitening and colour loss
- warping, bends and other damage
We use the condition scale Mint, Near Mint, Excellent, Good, Light Played, Played and Poor. Where a card’s condition requires additional documentation, original photographs and supplementary notes are used to show the specific copy.
See more specific examples in our visual condition guide, or read the complete guide to Pokémon card condition and assessment.
Price and condition should align
The price of a Pokémon card depends on factors such as its set, variant, language, edition, condition, demand and availability.
A Near Mint copy and a Played copy of the same card should therefore not be assessed or priced in the same way. We work to maintain a clear relationship between the card’s details, physical condition and price.
This gives you a better basis for comparing cards and choosing the copy that best suits your collection and budget.
Secure packaging and tracked delivery
Protection is adapted to the specific card and order so that the cards remain stable during transport.
Depending on the card type and value, packaging may include:
- a sleeve
- a toploader or other rigid protection
- protection against movement and pressure
- outer packaging suited to the shipment
Tracking is used for shipments, and the available delivery methods and prices are shown before the order is completed.
Personal service from one collector to another
CollexyLux is operated by Alexander Laursen and is built on many years of interest in Pokémon cards, collecting and trading.
Running the store includes identifying cards, assessing condition, managing product data, sorting, packing and customer service.
If you have a specific question about a card, it is therefore handled by someone who works directly with both the cards and the online store.

Experience from both the online store and Cardmarket
CollexyLux sells Pokémon cards through its own online store and also holds Professional Seller status on Cardmarket.
Documented Cardmarket evaluations include positive feedback on item descriptions, packaging and overall order handling.
That experience is applied to clear product information, condition assessment, customer service and secure delivery throughout the CollexyLux store.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know whether it is the correct version of the card?
Check the card’s set, collector number, language, edition, variant and finish. These details are shown on product pages where they are relevant to the specific card.
How does CollexyLux assess condition?
The card is assessed as a whole, including the front, back, corners, edges, surface and any damage. The condition is selected based on the visible signs of wear on the specific copy.
Are the cards authentic?
CollexyLux trades in authentic Pokémon cards. When products are created, relevant card details and visible characteristics of the specific card are checked.
A card is described as graded only when it has been assessed and encapsulated by an external grading company such as PSA, Beckett or CGC.
Do you use your own photographs?
Original photographs are used for relevant cards where condition, variant or other details are particularly important to the purchase decision.
How are cards protected during delivery?
Protection is adapted to the card and order. It may include a sleeve, a toploader or other rigid protection, together with stable and suitable outer packaging.
